Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using DualFormat ("the app"), also published under the DualShot Recorder app listing. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

DualFormat is a video recording app that allows you to capture video on your device and save the finished recordings to your Photos library. The app is designed for creative and personal use, including reaction videos, vlogs, and dual-perspective filmmaking.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using DualFormat, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use the app.

3. User Responsibilities

When using the app, you agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Obtain consent from any individuals you record, as required by the laws of your jurisdiction.
• Not use the app to record in locations or situations where recording is prohibited.
• Be solely responsible for the content you create using the app.
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the app or its source code without authorization.
• Not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features of the app.

4. Content You Create

All videos and recordings you create with DualFormat are yours. The app saves recordings directly to your device and does not upload, access, or claim any rights over your content. You are solely responsible for how you use, store, and share the content you produce.

5. Privacy

DualFormat does not collect personal data, use analytics, or display advertising. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how the app handles your information.

6. Device Permissions

The app requires camera, microphone, and Photos permissions to function. Photos access is used to save your recordings to your Photos library and to display a thumbnail of your latest recording or photo inside the app. Your media is never uploaded or transmitted — it stays on your device at all times. You may revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings, though doing so will limit the app's functionality.

7. In-App Purchases

DualFormat may offer a one-time in-app purchase to unlock Pro features. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. We do not receive your payment card details. Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, graphics, interface, and code, is the intellectual property of the DualFormat developers. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

DualFormat is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices or operating system versions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the DualFormat developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of recordings or data arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Upon uninstallation, all locally stored app data will be permanently deleted. Recordings saved to your Photos library will remain on your device.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected within the app and on this page. Your continued use of the app after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
